is ptr on the right track

PTRs HEWI sounds great, using proven oil and gas technology in the insulating layers to lower risk.

However there is a reason they are called insulating layers. Becouse they dont carry heat very well thus the insulating effect. Therefor, they may currently have temperatures at 200c but how quickly are they going to fall once heat starts to get taken out and due to their insulating properties cannot replenish the heat quickly enough to retain the same economics as those companies that have their reservoirs in the lower hotter and more conductive granites.

Why are other companies targeting hot granites if HEWI is such a great idea? PTR may think they are ahead of their time but it may prove to be uneconomical in a country with such low electricity prices.

    Cheers
