Here's the latest on the Paperlinx restructure:

ferryman, I'm separating PPX from PXUPA, because they're not acting the same. Re the selling, there's two questions I have: why the selling and when does it end? If anyone has a broker who can find out some info on why, that would be good to hear (I doubt that would be inside info). I watched CRE being sold down heavily- day after day, just massacred, and then it stopped. At some point everything can start to look good value (or go into administration, like CXN and ETH just did- for some, there's no aid). For PPX, they're going to lose $30m, as they said they might, so they're still within -previous guidance, but also save $30m. If brighter sparks than me deem the ANN to be that PXUPA won't be paid, then I guess it becomes an instrument without itsd main purspose- the distribution. Still, it will have some value, right?

On the other hand, GS might have bought PXUPA's @ $100 and has some kind of calendar where they reassess assets, and kill some off. Just like anyone, they're entitled to sell. :( The performance of PXUPA has been astoundingly bad of late (20% gone over the past few days), but no doubt there will be phone calls galore over this, to find out what is going on, and if it's just a rebalance by GS, we might find another of the big funds develops an interest. All we need is capacity of buyers to take up this horrendous selling, and we'll be right, I hope. Then hopefully, it will just become another illiquid stock. Istill reckon PXUPA distributions will be paid, particularly if PPX makes hard decisions. At $26 the distribution is about 25%.

What do you think, ferryman? Is it a sell?
