I agree about Berkshire Peppie,
I'm absolutely certain the QBE name has been thrown in the mix behind closed doors, but alas that is where the interest has stopped so far BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
Could they afford to shell out another $25 Billion on a takeover at the moment?
The answer is absolutely a yes but more importanly would they risk it?
That is a question that is way to hard for us to be guessing what the answer might be.
If someone stumps up the money i'd take it, it would give me a great profit and i could go shopping for more shares in other companies a think look like good long term value.
As i have stated many times before i'm VERY BULLISH QBE and consider them to be one of the most undervalued bluechips on the ASX along with TLS.
PS: i know i'll probably keep getting slammed for my bullish opinion on TLS but hey i see value just like i do with QBE.
