Not conspiracies, generally the market maker (MM) maximising his position, triggering stop losses and re-accumulating. sometimes selling to himself so not really losing out, all about control the SP and building position, selling into retail on Ann, then dropping SP after and rinse repeat. ASX is absolute wild west, huge manipulation across all sectors. Quick example: SOI 6,7,8 bn. That is criminal. Other global exchanges have a good laugh at the shenanigans on the asx.
