    in addressing inequality its necessary to "favour" the less equal cohort in order to increase the degree of supports.

    the same principle applied to womens' rights over the last 50 years.

    call it biased, or pro-active support, or even affirmative action...... such favouring of suppressed cohorts is necessary.
