    I do know what I’m talking about thanks. A broker Lend stock to short when they hold 10s of millions of shares in a stock for institutional clients. Otherwise if the clients want to sell and they only have a few like vmt it’s too hard to call back the stock. This borrow and short sale anonymously the holder has no clue who is shorting it’s obviously adverse to the investment. Stocks with vmts liquidity are near impossible to short. No insto buys a stock with intention to lend out it’s just apart of the market on larger stocks that have people bet on and against. It would be a clear indication you’ve made a bad/dangerous purchase if you bought it for someone to short. In fact. The whole proposition is stupid. The end
