    I disagree it had nothing to do with single mums. It was time for Labor, Howard stayed too long and people got used to the good times.

    And why shouldn't single mums go to work (once their kids are at school) and why should the Taxpayer continually fund single mums their 'lifestyle'? I know a number of single mums who go to work.
