The parents of Matthew Fuller, in the 4 corners episode and on the 730 report, never appear to apportion blame to the employer, who was subsequently fined.

Check out the questions posted to Chris McKay the electrical contractor.
Electrical contractors posting on online blogs at the time were absolutely scathing of McKay's response.

The employer in Mathew's case did not provide supervision or make them aware of the dangers posed.

The number one rule in workplace safety is "look after number one".
Less skilled young workers often lack the courage to speak up if they are unsure of something, for fear of looking stupid or fear of reprisal. Young employees often don't take the time to consider the consequences of hazards in the workplace.
As younger untrained workers were affected this should be a reminder to employers and parents to ensure that adequate training and support is provided.

The home insulation industry was unregulated before the scheme was implemented.

Tragic loss of life on our roads is hard to justify.
Just as there are more road deaths in Australia than Victoria alone, more work means more risk exposure.
You don't speed in roadworks areas do you?
