Oh come on mate. I'm no prude, but if you think it does any good for AFL having some guy who, fortunately or otherwise, is a 'face' of the game, making comments about 'coming on her', then really, you have no idea. That girl is someone's daughter, and probably someone's wife or mother. Give us a break.
It is that same grotty mentality that has served to do great damage to Rugby League.
There's no need for that. To conveniently try to excuse it by blaming TV for becoming too precious is just plain senseless if you ask me.
As a former rugby league supporter, I have long admired the discipline that the AFL has displayed in relation to players behaviour and foul play, in comparison to league.
If the AFL loses that, they are going to lose a helluva lot of their game.........and to what???......thuggery and smut.
