that's right mate -- your generation only had the Korean war, Malaya, Vietnam war, Iraq 1, Iraq 2, Afghanistan
you gave up free education, sent house prices so far north that kids can't get homes, you took until the 60's to recognize aboriginals on the census (did you protest for that or stay home?)
Whilst you snoozed, priests and teachers sexually abused children and old people were bashed in aged care facilities if they weren't bashed at home - and, you snoozed on
you allowed the government to lock away land that the public owns held in trust by the crown and normal aussies can't access a lot of that land now or have to pay to visit other bits
and, if it's changed - it's not your fault you say???????? -- well, it looks to me like it is your fault if it stayed the same
what did you actually get out onto the streets and protest about whilst all of that was going on?
oh, that's right - you loved your children - so, you sent your wive's to work when the pill was invented and you put the kids into child care after school until they were picked up late after work
you invented supermarkets and shit food which now forms much or most of our diet
you sold off our companies to foreigners and you allowed governments to 'privatize' national and state assets and then let superannuation companies buy those assets and sell them off to foreigners
yeah - right ---------------- and, it's not your fault or most of your generation
why ------------ because you were asleep at the time - for decades
