In my opinion Rudd, Conroy and Samuel are doing the bidding of their respective masters.

They are miffed because the Telstra board dared to represent the interest of their shareholders, rather than do the bidding of others.

Conroy’s and Samuel’s public utterings are unconvincing. They would now have people believe that 1.4 million shareholders and many technical and financial experts were dumb to buy the shares.

Telstra’s evidence to the Senate, technically and commercially, is spot on but it has been dismissed out of hand by Conroy and Samuel before they even heard it.

The government lacks any credibility in this matter. Who will have confidence in the commercial dealings of this government into the future, only those accustomed to telling the government what they want and what to do. The behaviour of these groups will be reinforced.

Telstra’s competitors, many of whom are standing in the wings, are urging on bully boy Conroy.

Conroy and Samuels appear to be right, the Australian public have fallen for the five card trick, they have allowed themselves to be conned and ripped off.
