viennalager - I disagree with you on that you cannot have stop losses in gambling.
The difference is in trading you can 'system' driven automatcic stop loss, in gambling it is more human which may sometimes require more discipline or your mate pulling you out of gambling chair.
I know some who gamble and are winning, then if they lose a bit, they pull out. Of course it requires more discipling, but that makes you a better gambler.
