If the banks had any sense of responsibility to their own medium term viability they'd nix the dividends this year and stockpile the cash to weather the incoming storm but, nah. They'll play Santa Klaus one more time figuring (correctly) that Uncle Mal will come to the rescue with his "socialism for the rich" bailouts and make them whole.
