Reminder that 80% of contract traders lose money. Shorting CBA on a contract trade may appear edgy and contrarian in nature, and may eventually end up being correct shorting at these levels, but with that leverage and after that report, it could get fairly expensive.
Also considering the short term nature that contract trades force on you, it becomes less about the fundamental view of the stock, and more about day to day charting noise, which should make up a very small piece of one's investment thesis in my opinion. Fundamentals should always drive technicals, not the other way round.
