If you go back to 2009, there was a Royal Commission into the Financial sector - that included Storm Financial debacle.
CBA just sailed through that - its SP went higher and higher, after the initial shock.
The shock you had yesterday was the reaction - now, its back to normal business.
Further note, there was a commission into BHP, RIO, APPLE, GOOGLE into price transfer and profit shifting.
Anything adverse happened to them - nope, just a storm in a teacup.
