Banks do actually lend to purchase shares in 2 different ways, one is a personal loan the other through your trading account as a margin loan. The second option is the cheaper one but more restrictive the personal loan is going to be far more expensive so you would want an appetite for the risk. DYOR not financial advice etc etc.
