Ease up CP, most people i.e. the public are more interested in the weekend sport/page 3 girl. You want a major scandal - ball tampering has shaken the country to its core. As for losing ones identity - getting wasted is just having a good time.
Everybody hates the banks, its a national pastime without reason so all this means not much. But looking through the microscope of an overly leveraged trader its armageddon x 3 hence panic.
