As I said on the SVL thread a week ago, Putin is just playing and testing the west (I'm ex 30yr military). He has nothing to gain just yet with a war.
However, what it does show is that POG and POS will move to the upside when the next correction or crash occurs. People still love the stuff and is still a safe heaven, it's just that they are chasing other investments at the moment.
