An article today details talk about rival SG Fleet in talks to buy the LeasePlan business. In the same AFR article it mentions another rival MMS that was perhaps looking at ECX again.
For me a better merger would be MMS and SIQ. This would release a lot of synergy benefits and allow a bigger organisation to take full advantage of the SIQ systems which seem to deliver about 10% per annum in productivity gains.
Any thoughts?
