If we’re getting average gold grades around 0.7g/tonne, does it really matter how big Andewa is?
That equates to about 0.022 troy oz/tonne, or $34/tonne with a gold price of $1,500/oz.
That’s the sort of cost/tonne to extract iron ore out of the semi-arid Pilbara. How can we expect to make money out of digging up Andewa dirt (and treating it) in less favourable terrain with a wet climate? I would think it doesn’t really matter how many hundreds of millions of tonnes you pull out, if the pay rate is so marginal.
Perhaps the market is right. Andewa is worthless. That's why we're back to pre-Andewa share price levels.
