I suspect the price movement has occurred because algorithmic or "bot" trading has stopped trying to drive the price down. These were all those trades of a couple of hundred shares that have been so frequent. The trading had got to a point where many followers of this stock thought the price ridiculous and were providing firm support at 24.5 cents thereby not allowing the stock to be further shorted. I think the algorithmic traders have exited thereby allowing the share price to finally move. Hopefully they have gone!
