In the New China Guide to Support Australian Medtech Companies issued by AusBiotech in May 2015, it reads "The Australian medical technology industry consists of an estimated 500 – 800 companies that are seeking opportunities in global markets and are increasingly seeking support to enter Asian markets, specifically China".

So we may see more and more Chinese companies paying money to their Aussie biotech partners
