Sorry acreage but I don't see any "viable, plausable possible reasons for the silence".
How does it advantage GGP by not telling the market(those who have invested in the company and are now OWNERS and those considering investing in the company) the production status of SRH-1, in any negotiations or disputes. Surely those who are party to such actions would be in a privileged position to find out for themselves one way or the other.
It seems that there are participants here who are happy just to assume things and think others should do likewise.
