Steve Keen may not be the property forum's cup of tea, but he ain't stupid as people here infer.
Indeed, he has been lauded by many lately for his predictions regarding the economy in general and the stock market; this in spite of all the assurances from main stream economists, commentators, politicians, central bankers, bankers per se, property forum gurus that everything was not too bad. Of course, many on the property forum still think that things ain't too bad and are only gonna get better.
Steve Keen obviously uses different methodology to analyse property prices to people here. But his analysis is thorough and his claims are coherent. It's just that not many listen - just like they couldn't believe him with his assertions on the stock markets and general economy.
Fair enough - disagree with the man. But it is very, very clear that he is intelligent with a well considered opinion and he is racking up quite a track record of correct predictions.
