Mr Market remains irrational for longer than we can remain solvent time and time again... my portfolio (heavily weighted in PMs) opened down 5pc and is now down only 1pc. Based on nothing I was expecting it to go down another 5pc maybe but quite happy with the quick turnaround.
There isn’t really any debate that the US economy is in terrible shape, other than from socialist-leaning Madness Monetary Theory subscribers. Either way the value of money is decreasing. PMs or crypto-currencies? I have no clue but PMs are doing much better than Bitcoin for the moment with a market cap of 9 trillion (from memory) while bitcoin is 300 billion.
