Please correct me if I am wrong, certainly not here to be negative. But my understanding is different. I believe the owner of 61% of REA is News Corp, but the ASX version, not the NASDAQ version (ASX ticket NWS)
(The NASDAQ company owns the films assets, amongst other things, but the ASX version owns newspapers, books, Foxtel, and 61% of REA)
This company sells at a market cap of $700million but I think the REA shares are worth billions (market cap about 8 billion, NWS owns 61%)
Can somebody please check my thesis and confirm if I am going crazy or not?
