The very same thing happened to me - following the test, the Policewoman said "why did you lie to me" you have alcohol on your breath, I told her the story. She said that's a new one, hadn't heard that before. Let me go anyway. If you have been drinking, heaven forbid, just gargle before you drive, just in case!!!
