I'm optomistic!
Optimism for sure!
Gold looking stronger tonight. Now worth in A$ terms $967.
Noticed there is a shortage of bullion and some gold coins in the retail market due to strong demand. We are seeing diverse predictions for gold over the medium term. My money is on it bouncing back to over US$1000 quite soon. The next six months (Wedding Seasons) is strong for Indian fabricators purchasing and I believe they have run their inventories down markedly over the last 12 months.
Hopefully production is now running smoothly (as suggested todays market is the best indicator that it is) and Allied can capitalise on very good margins again with lower costs and higher gold price.
Tommorrow should be very interesting I believe.
