JCF1981, matmor does not make any type of steel. It is the process to make raw iron. Steel making is the next step from raw iron. it is related to the cost of all types of steel though. The current process to make raw iron has to use expensive coking coal to make coke first and mix with expensive high grade iron ore to make raw iron. Matmor can use dirt cheap brown coal and waste low grade iron ore or nickel tailings to make raw iron. The cost of Matmor raw iron is a fraction of the raw iron from the current process. ECT did announced that Matmor is the ultimate goal, but we have to do coldry first to prove the viablility as Matmor also rely on coldry to make the pellet first. I would say Matmor is the real company maker, have the potential to revolutionalise the steel industry. If it is finally commercialised, lots of us here will be able to retire early comfortablly.
