If the ASX have leaked information internally for commercial gain, they should be suspended, charged and removed as a regulator.
if your statement is true that commercial in confidence information was leaked to a 3rd party/ short seller. They have committed a criminal offence and are guilty of insider trading along with breaching numerous other acts and should be delisted and have all market regulatory powers stripped.
If either of the above are true, this case will be bigger than Ben Hur and ISX will take ASX down.
Just by investigating or suspending them for anything other than price volatility they have breached the trade practices act.
Get the popcorn folks either way it goes this case is going to be a sensation and if any of the above allegations are true, I hope ISX doesn't accept a settlement
