They are a country trying to emerge from one of the greatest war crimes in history perpetrated by the US. The US created Nth Korea by drawing up the 38th parallel. They left the capital of Pyongyang with one single building standing. It is believed that they burnt down every town in North Korea. Over half-a-million tons of napalm and chemical weapons were dropped on them, and then there are the conventional bombs which were a kindness. They drench apartments with napalm so that basically anybody hiding in basements became fried chicken as napalm entered ever crack and crevasse. The civilian death toll will never be known but it was many millions.

Is it any wonder that such a distorted, fearful society would emerge from such utter devastation and contempt for human life? They may be somewhat excused for deserting God as a reciprocal act.
