Well .. yeah, maybe ... but apart from that, we're pretty special to the rest of the Universe aren't we ?
Actually, Humanity is special at this level but seems to lack any appreciation of scale ... or modesty !
No wonder "high fives" all round is now almost obligatory even when little Johny does his first successful trip to the potty !
In times past for people who thought (and still think) the night sky was a dome of little lights put there by God, and Earth was the centre of Creation, that attitude is understandable.
Yet with all we know, however incomplete, still it persists. Very odd.

OMG, yes, we are special to the rest of the universe..... if only they knew we exist to appreciate our specialness.
On second thoughts maybe it's better that they remain ignorant of our existence. They may take over and see us as we see rats that we took over from - creatures to be exterminated as vermin.
