You miss the point.. (as it's not about our 'independent' thinking/mindset/opinions as imperfect human beings - we are prone to doing the wrong thing/thinking the wrong thoughts etc. unlike Jesus himself who was perfect in all his ways)
2 Timothy 3:16
All Scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching, for reproving, for setting things straight, for disciplining in righteousness,
in other words Jehovah God left us the Holy Bible as our 'life reference manual' (to instruct/teach us etc.) so that we may come to know him (the creator) and Jesus (Christ our saviour).
