not a Muslim but I have had much dealings with Islam, mostly Sunni some exposure and dealings with Shites and via some Lebanese friends Druze who like Baha'i tend to get the short shift from much of the rest of the Islamic world. I myself am a Christian
but I was interested if the Baha'i have accepted the Shi'a teaching of the infallibility of the 12 Imams as this is a progressive revelational epistemology which mirrors the Baha'i faith.
Mohammad was not infallible the Quran deals with this issue, Mohammad could not always tell what came from Allah and what came from Satan.
Surah Al-Haj 22:52
SAHIH INTERNATIONAL
And We did not send before you any messenger or prophet except that when he spoke [or recited], Satan threw into it [some misunderstanding]. But Allah abolishes that which Satan throws in; then Allah makes precise His verses. And Allah is Knowing and Wise.
