Yep, maybe it is of critical importance to some.
For me there is little overlap between the approaches used by the religious and those used by scientists.
The approaches may make interesting discussions, but comparing the two seems to me to be a futile undertaking because in my experience such discussions degrade into emotional slinging matches.
