Just a few thoughts:
Speccy:
A stock that is not making money and in debt.
ETE:
Making money and not in debt
SP:
It is sliding abit, but this could be taken as a good entry point. But is could also be taken as a good point to sell as it may slide further.
Horizontal Drilling:
Not cheap and it may increase the recoverable product.
Vertical Drilling:
A lot cheaper to operate and complete.
All the above is my thoughts as is not to be taken as advice.
