Because LKE has gone from being a multi-billion dollar dream to now a microcap nightmare.
Kachi is not economically feasible at today's lithium price. The SP is (very nearly) at a 4-year low.
There's probably little point in shorts trying to eek out further gains. It's an incredible pump and dump story, only possible due to the lithium price, COVID economic stimulus and naive retail investors.
The truth-telling phase was always going to be difficult!
