Thacker Pass is more capital intensive. Will they find it harder to attract $US2 billion, Oh look they got the money. Lithium is abundant but extracting it has problems, Lepidolite produces 30 tons of waste for every ton of lithium. Pond extraction is facing environmental problems, banned in Bolivia and grandfathered in Chile. Clearly LKE has problems with high Capex and power supply. We will just have to wait to see how it pans out.
