LKE’s Management has consciously decided to delay deployment of water recovery infrastructure for commissioning and start-up phase of the plant at the environmental expense of incurring higher overall water use, approximately 60 Ips, for a period of two years. Their model indicates that peak drawdown would be approximately 1.3 m after 2 years.
Why has LKE decided not to deploy water recovery infrastructure for Train 1?Not good ESG.
