the ASX purges orders that are far from the current price - I outlined the formula they appear to use.
The ASX seems to only bother doing the purging on the higher volume securities, DYL must now qualify for that.
If there is no purging taking place then one can use the ASX formula ie the day's high multiplied 1.55 and the day's low divided by 1.55. One then takes the buy-sell ratio between these limits ~ easy to do with a program like protrader.
Note that there are 50,000 shares on offer at 84¢. That will be purged tonight if the price doesn't go up any more today and possibly the offer at 69¢ (it's on the line).
