    Lapdog, lol, indeed we could have written it... and in the past I have!!! But that's another story.

    For a decade the driver of economic growth in Australia, which outpaced probably all western economies, was consumer spending, spending, spending.

    Mr Stevens comes along and kills the goose and we wave goodby the the holden egg.

    Like you I'm thinking we may have had our retrace from $31. It's not stopped at any Fib level, but instead has settled on the 50-day moving average.

    Mixed signals from the chart. If tomorrow is a turn date---and I am no Gann analyst--- then surely today would be as low as it goes??????
