Why do they need to beat Afterpay, and why is it a winner take all market? It's one of the fastest growing new industries/products/mega trends in the world. Have you actually taken the time to read their reports and updates? Customers get used to paying using a particular company like Sezzle, and it's risky for any small business to take them off their site at any time.
Paypal have a competitor called Stripe with a huge valuation. There are numerous industries where there are multiple players all succeeding and growing.
ShopPay is certainly interesting and Sezzle may actually be their BNPL partner. Either way, they're not launching until later in the year and Sezzle will continue to grow and gain more market share.
Management have stated they are in trials with ''numerous enterprise merchants''. I think it's only good news for this stock in the foreseeable future with May updates and then the next report.
