Does Oilman Jim's piece sum it up fairly?

He's referring to a peak flow rate of over 70 barrels of oil per day under natural flow from small 20 feet perforated intervals in the vertical well and that long horizontal production wells typically produce at multiples between 6 to 12 times higher than vertical wells. Is this right?
