Todays article in WA Business News suggests that because the top 5 risers (by percentage) in the ASX yesterday were all gold companies (including our beloved BDR) that perhaps the "gold canary is starting to sing".
It states that this is "a clear signal that investors believe the goal price is poised to rise sharply, and that many of Australia's gold stocks have been oversold..."
The author talks about a "gloom trap" in Europe of high debt and no growth, plus a stalled US economy as being the catalyst for a potential "flight to safety"...
Bring it on ... I am waiting for that flight in the "BDR departure lounge" right now !!!
