Unfortunately joe average in the street now thinks that the government will just about fund everything they do . The hand out mentality has become the norm , and has removed any notion of taking responsibility for one's self . There will be money for everything , so why work at all ? A billion here , a billion there , joe average cannot comprehend it all, so he just votes labor because that is where he thinks he will get the biggest handout . Broadband is just a romantic notion to these people, so yes we will have that to . School halls and pink batts didn't affect me , so who cares- just give me more free money . Oh , and let's all be green - stop those dirty power stations- turn the lights off for a few nights and see how these clowns go

Anyone with even a quarter of brain could work out this is all unsustainable - which says a lot I suppose for that half of the population that will roll up to vote for labor or green on August 21.
