    Depends on what you define as socialist. If it's purely socialsm versus liberalism, ask yourself how the two majors are markedly different in performance. e.g. it was Hawke and Keating who took the handcuffs off and introduced neo liberalism to the Oz landscape.

    If it's socialism versus conservatism and fiscal rectitude, how does the LNP report card since Frasier relate to that.

    If it's unionism, how come the bastion of western culture calls itself "the Union" and what's the difference between a bunch of people forming a group of common goals, pay membership and calling themselves an assocaition or political party

    One of my metrics is how profitable my enterprises have been through various govts and the LAB governance would be in the lead on that score, even though I do get a bad case of the whineys when they are in and focus on promoting the contagion of race/gender/woke/equity/kumbaya baiting.
