The Hawke/Keating Government started the privatisation of Aus SOEs (Neo-Liberal) , the floating of the AUD (Neo-Liberal) & the switch from the Government''s universal aged pension to self funded Super.
This, IMO, was the biggest Government move in Australia's history to "de-Socialise the economy.
IMO its best to be honest rather than being politically trying to spruik silly propaganda.
