If this were to happen as you suggest (and also in some other scenarios) there would definitely be a major legal challenge. SHs have been taking advice from a well credentialed barrister and have been documenting the necessary evidence for some time now (which would also most probably see certain individuals face some well deserved consequences).
It might be worthwhile for any SHs who are so upset at what's been happening that they still want to sell to consider keeping at least a single share so that they remain a 'member' of the company.
