Thanks Jukes. So the coal feedstock alone can cost $60 per MHr??! I seriously think some of the figures bandied around are either wrong or misleading. How can anyone perform any sort of economic modeling is there are hidden subsidies? Wasn't the capital cost of Penola modeled at $87 per MWhr?
