your inability to understand weather, weather forecasting etc is becoming legendary
you are the person who talked of southern media as being alarmist with cyclone jasper when they were warning about potential major flooding
you were the one who talked down of me when I said that any cyclone should be watched carefully until it is long gone - and no cyclone should ever be trusted
after you got dumped on with a lot of water -------- your tune changed to 'shit happens' and that my advice was 'stating the bleeding obvious'
you have shown that you have absolutely zero idea of how these factors like El Nino affect large areas of the worlds weather - and you show no concept of understanding that they give 'tendencies' not 'guarantees'
you show zero understanding that the change period in rapid climate change brings instability - which means more difficulty in prediction
in short - you really have nfi
if you live in a cyclone risk area ------------- which you very much do - then, you really need to listen up ------
cyclones are unpredictable ----------------- even in todays high tech era ----------------- one glance at the path of Cyclone Tracy show us that -------------- they are dreadfully difficult to predict - and that with such powerful systems ----------- when 'shit happens' as you speak of --------------- it can happen by the truckload
and for all your goosey followers who say - 'chicken little' -------------- well, be
prepared cannot be shown in any better example than how JAL got every single person off their Airbus 350 in the last day ------------
how did they evacuate that plane so well in the face of catastrophe????????????
They were prepared. They have trained and trained and trained their people - because they had a disaster before where they lost almost every soul on board. - 1985
And when - about 20 or so years later - new young employees were coming to the company - and they were too young to remember the catastrophic crash -
JAL hauled in to the foyer entry ------- many damaged parts that were recovered from the crash site - and they plonked them where every employee could see them -
to remind them as to why they were big on safety and training ---------- because one day - shit would happen again - and they were going to be prepared -----
well, it happened in the last 48 hours - and their company preparation prevented many deaths - including about a dozen aussies - as everyone got out alive ----------------- from this
an absolutely remarkable crew performance to get all out and quick - (learn it ---------- be prepared)
